Awaken your eyes

Ever wake up after getting only a couple hours of sleep, and your eyes barley look awake? Here are a few tips to help brighten up your eyes.

1. Apply a white or gold liner to the inner corners of your eyes, or on your bottom waterline. This helps to open up your eyes.

2. Take a bit of concealer that is a few shades lighter than your natural skin tone, (No more than three shades lighter) and apply it under your eyes. This will help brighten up your eyes and lighten some of the darkness if you have under eye circles.

3. Use light eye shadows like light pinks, shimmery whites, and shimmery golds.

4. To help make your face glow and brighten up, try to use shimmery or sheer light blushes, and a subtle bronzer to highlight your cheek bones.

Start off by french braiding the side of your head that your hair is parted on.

Continue the braid.

Instead of  just braiding it down all the way, gather sections of hair and keep braiding. (Make sure to keep the braid close to the head. It's best if you make it tight.)

Now you can either continue the braid all the way down, or you can put it in a bun or side pony.

Here's some different angles of the finished product.

Half up knot

Take the top half of your hair and divide it into two sections.

Next simply cross it over and begin to tie a knot. (It's the same as tying your shoes!)

Then cross it over and tie it once more. You should come out with a knot that looks like this. Secure with bobby pins.

To make soft waves, wrap a section of hair around the curling iron and leave it for about 10-15 seconds.

Continue to curl and this is what it should look like!

(The knot does not stay without bobby pins, so don't worry about it getting it stuck in your hair.)

Some of my favorite hair and face products

This is a very good hairspray. It holds very well, and makes your hair smell amazing since it's scented!

TRESemme - Split Remedy Leave-In Conditioning Spray - 10 fl oz
Lately I've been having some trouble with split ends. I was looking for a good product to help mend them, and found this. It's a leave in conditioning spray which really makes your hair soft and smooth. The good thing is it really helps get rid of your split ends!

This is a good tanning lotion. I really like how moisturizing it is, and the fact that it gives you a nice glow instead of turning you orange. It tans gradually, which I think looks more natural.

This lip balm is great! It does a nice job at keeping your lips moisturized and soft, and doesn't peel off like some other lip products. * This is EOS medicated tangerine lip balm*

I have very sensitive dry skin. I used to try so many different lotions that never worked, until I found this. This lotion is the only one that keeps my skin moisturized and soft. I highly recommend it!

I straighten my hair pretty much every day. As you probably know, using heated products is very bad for your hair, so I tried this TRESemme` heat tamer spray and I really liked it. You just spritz some on before you apply heat to your hair, and your good to go! I also noticed a lot less breakage.

Breaking Eyelashes

Beauty Tip:

I wear mascara 6 days a week. When I used to remove my make-up I would have three to four of my eyelashes falling out of each eye. My eyelashes were getting to dry and brittle, so I found a solution and I hope it helps you!!

PETROLEUM JELLY!

This works really great to help your eyelashes grow faster and it keeps them staying healthy so they are less prone to breakage.

Step 1: Dip your finger into the Vaseline and rub it along the lash line on the top of your eyelashes. You can do your bottom ones too.

Step 2: Be careful not to get it in your eyes!!!!

** I do this every night after I take my make-up off so it moisturizes my eyelashes overnight. If your eyebrows are thin or over plucked, it works well on helping eyebrows grow too!

This works very well for me and I hope it helps you guys!
